What means REACH?

REACH stands for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation of Chemicals. This EU Regulation centralizes and simplifies chemicals legislation throughout Europe and entered into force on 1st of June 2007. The declared objective is to improve the level of knowledge about dangers and risks that chemicals may pose. Companies are expected to assume even more responsibility for the safe use of their products.

SVHC-list - issue: July 2011

We are absolutely aware of our obligations towards the REACH-regulation and the Candidate List (SVHC = Substances of Very High Concern) mentioned therein.

The company Epple does not and will not apply any of the substances mentioned therein. This will be ensured by a constant observation of the permanently growing candidate list.

In order to further secure the REACH-conformity of our products we are in constant touch with our suppliers. You may therefore be assured that you will immediately be notified in the event of any change imperilling the continuity of your supplies.

Registration committee - issue: July 2011

After having consulted our suppliers, we are able to state the following regarding the REACH-status of our products:

All compulsorily registrable and pre-registered substances will continue to be available. Please understand that Epple cannot guarantee, if and when our suppliers or any other actor in the supply chain will in fact carry out the registration of their substances. We will, however, of course do our best to duly inform you about any substantial change of the situation.
